I am moving away from vocal postings today. Instead, I am going to post some performances by a pianist who I think has been pretty much forgotten. This never should have happened, as she was a monumental artist. You can hear lyricism and restraint in her recordings, and her touch is just beautiful. She uses many colors in her playing, and, in certain cases, she has set the standard for performances of certain composers’ works. I hope that you enjoy her.
